Bodla mandal is located in Kabeerdham district, Chhattisgarh, encompassing 245 revenue villages and 97 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 143,333 in 32,998 households, with literacy at 45.6% and sex ratio of 1002. The mandal reported 73,021 workers, of whom 31,317 were cultivators and 18,396 were agricultural labourers. JJM tap-water access reached 70.6%.
