Sanwer mandal is located in Indore district, Madhya Pradesh, encompassing 121 revenue villages and 67 gram panchayats. Census 2011 data shows a population of 158,952 across 29,193 households with a literacy rate of 59.7% and sex ratio of 953 females per 1,000 males. Of the 67,686 workers, 24,344 were cultivators and 21,906 agricultural labourers. The mandal had 59.1% coverage under the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme.
