Padmapur

Padmapur mandal is located in Rayagada district, Odisha, comprising 108 revenue villages and 12 gram panchayats. According to the 2011 Census, the mandal had a population of 51,058 across 12,071 households, with a literacy rate of 49.8% and a sex ratio of 1019. As of the census, 24,626 persons were engaged in work, including 2,682 cultivators and 4,028 agricultural labourers. Padmapur serves as the mandal headquarters, with 68.3% of households having access to piped tap water through JJM.
