Rajasthan's Industries and Commerce Department is marking a Sustainable Lifestyle Week from 1 to 7 November, under BRICS 2026 chairship, across all 41 district centres. Activities include tree planting, cleanliness drives, and pledges on environment and water conservation, plus awareness on reducing single-use plastic, e-waste disposal and energy saving. Entrepreneurs and industry bodies are also taking part.

Rajasthan has launched the Shiksha Setu Abhiyan to identify out-of-school children and enrol them in government schools. Teachers are assigned one child each, progress is tracked online and reviewed at block, district and collector levels. Government school enrolment rose this year for the first time in five years, with girls outnumbering boys.
