Ichhawar

Ichhawar is a mandal in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, comprising 160 revenue villages and 77 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, its population was 147,086 across 29,371 households, with a literacy rate of 53.4% and a sex ratio of 929. The mandal had 79,240 workers, including 24,161 cultivators and 13,441 agricultural labourers, and 59.1% of households had access to JJM tap water.
