Wardha

Wardha mandal is located in Wardha district, Maharashtra, with 156 revenue villages organised into 75 gram panchayats. Census 2011 recorded 143,397 residents across 34,354 households, with literacy at 76.3% and sex ratio of 943. The mandal employed 72,295 workers, of which 15,664 were cultivators and 33,842 were agricultural labourers. JJM tap-water access stood at 82.1%.
