Bhorey is a mandal in Gopalganj district, Bihar, comprising 173 revenue villages and 17 gram panchayats. According to the 2011 Census, the mandal had a population of 178,199 across 27,414 households, with a literacy rate of 52.4% and a sex ratio of 1,064. Among its workforce of 55,433, agriculture was the primary occupation with 11,791 cultivators and 9,702 agricultural labourers. As of the Jal Jeevan Mission survey, 96.4% of households had access to tap water.
