Ghansaur mandal in Seoni district, Madhya Pradesh, is organized into 238 revenue villages across 79 gram panchayats. Census 2011 enumerated a population of 135,542 in 31,439 households, with literacy at 57.1% and sex ratio of 985. The mandal recorded 70,235 workers, of which 10,827 were cultivators and 19,937 agricultural labourers. Jal Jeevan Mission piped water access covered 59.1% of households in the recorded period.
