Bihpur

Bihpur mandal is located in Bhagalpur district, Bihar, comprising 71 revenue villages and 13 gram panchayats. The Census 2011 enumerated 123,386 people in 23,503 households, with a literacy rate of 49.4% and a sex ratio of 879. The mandal had 34,620 workers, of which 5,404 were cultivators and 8,374 were agricultural labourers. The Jal Jeevan Mission reported 96.4% tap water coverage among households.
