Fatehpur

Fatehpur mandal is located in Jamtara district, Jharkhand. It comprises 185 revenue villages and 15 gram panchayats with a Census 2011 population of 89,578 across 18,340 households. The mandal recorded a literacy rate of 55.3% and a sex ratio of 968 females per 1,000 males. As of the JJM survey, 46.4% of the population had access to tap water. Among the workforce of 44,443, agriculture remained a significant occupation with 9,667 cultivators and 2,863 agricultural labourers.
