Sidlaghatta

Sidlaghatta is a mandal in Chikkaballapura district, Karnataka, comprising 297 revenue villages administered through 28 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 163,010 with a literacy rate of 60.9% and a sex ratio of 967 females per 1,000 males. Of the 84,229 workers, 29,545 were cultivators and 24,200 agricultural labourers. As of recent data, 70.9% of households had access to tap water through JJM.
