Barshitakli

Barshitakli mandal is located in Akola district, Maharashtra, with 163 revenue villages organized under 82 gram panchayats. The Census 2011 enumeration showed a population of 149,363 across 34,607 households, with a literacy rate of 73.1% and a sex ratio of 935. The mandal had 73,329 workers, comprising 16,673 cultivators and 43,249 agricultural labourers. As of the post-Census period, 82.1% of households had access to JJM tap water.
