Maregaon

Maregaon is a mandal in Yavatmal district, Maharashtra, comprising 109 revenue villages and 56 gram panchayats. Census 2011 enumerated 78,713 persons in 19,776 households with a literacy rate of 73.5% and sex ratio of 963 females per 1,000 males. The workforce of 45,833 workers included 13,732 cultivators and 22,056 agricultural labourers. The mandal achieved high Jal Jeevan Mission coverage of 82.1% households with piped water access.
