Suar

Suar mandal is located in Rampur district, Uttar Pradesh, comprising 194 revenue villages and 104 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 293,781 with 48,128 households and a literacy rate of 43.1%. The sex ratio stood at 915 per 1,000 males. Agriculture is the primary occupation, with 25,698 cultivators and 28,090 agricultural labourers among 88,851 workers. As of the Jal Jeevan Mission survey, 70.8% of households have access to tap water.
