Sirsi mandal is located in Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka, and comprises 228 revenue villages organized under 32 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 124,026 across 27,944 households, with a literacy rate of 77.5% and a sex ratio of 979. The workforce comprised 60,766 workers, including 12,371 cultivators and 13,619 agricultural labourers. As of the survey period, 70.9% of households had access to tap water under JJM schemes.
