Galiveedu

Galiveedu is a mandal in Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh, with 14 revenue villages and 17 gram panchayats. The Census 2011 enumeration recorded a population of 50,833 across 13,275 households, with a literacy rate of 52.1% and a sex ratio of 989. The mandal's workforce consisted of 29,913 workers, of whom 7,784 were cultivators and 10,205 were agricultural labourers. Galiveedu village serves as the mandal headquarters, alongside other significant settlements such as Nooliveedu and Araveedu. JJM tap-water coverage reached 72.0% of households.
