Mainatanr

Mainatanr is a mandal in Pashchim Champaran district, Bihar, comprising 97 revenue villages across 16 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 190,744 with a literacy rate of 42.3% and a sex ratio of 915 per 1000 males. Among the 80,629 workers, agriculture was a significant occupation with 8,147 cultivators and 29,866 agricultural labourers. As of the post-Census period, 96.4% of households had access to tap water through the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme.
