Thakurgangti

Thakurgangti is a mandal in Godda district, Jharkhand, encompassing 192 revenue villages organised into 16 gram panchayats. Census 2011 enumerated 96,333 people in 18,984 households with a literacy rate of 45.8% and a sex ratio of 921. The mandal recorded 40,594 workers, of which 3,239 were cultivators and 3,945 were agricultural labourers. JJM tap water connection was available to 46.4% of households.
