Ranni is a mandal in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, with 10 revenue villages and 9 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 166,225 across 44,450 households, with a literacy rate of 88.8% and a sex ratio of 1091. Among the population, 55,078 were workers, including 5,704 cultivators and 5,084 agricultural labourers. As of the last survey, 51.8% of households had access to tap water through the Jal Jeevan Mission.
