Rahuri

Rahuri mandal is located in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra, comprising 97 revenue villages administered through 83 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 253,013 with a literacy rate of 68.8% and a sex ratio of 934. Agriculture forms the primary economic base, with 53,059 cultivators and 38,247 agricultural laborers among 124,747 workers. As of the survey period, 82.1% of households had access to piped drinking water through the Jal Jeevan Mission.
