Khalapur

Khalapur mandal is located in Raigad district, Maharashtra, comprising 157 revenue villages across 45 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 114,010 across 24,162 households, with literacy at 65.6% and a sex ratio of 899. The workforce included 45,172 workers, of whom 5,487 were cultivators and 6,789 were agricultural labourers. Post-Census, JJM tap water coverage reached 82.1%.
