Mangalvedhe

Mangalvedhe is a mandal in Solapur district, Maharashtra, comprising 83 revenue villages and 79 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 184,108 across 37,354 households, with a literacy rate of 61.5% and a sex ratio of 917. Agriculture is the primary occupation, with 36,335 cultivators and 34,323 agricultural labourers among 88,069 workers. JJM tap water coverage reached 82.1% by the post-Census period.
