Raruan

Raruan mandal is situated in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha. The mandal contains 148 revenue villages and 13 gram panchayats. Census 2011 recorded a population of 99,328 in 22,833 households, with a literacy rate of 54.7% and a sex ratio of 1019. The workforce comprised 43,116 workers, of whom 5,379 were cultivators and 5,831 agricultural labourers. JJM tap water coverage reached 68.3% of households.
