Almora burns the whole clan, not just Ravana

Almora is the one place that burns the entire Ravana clan rather than Ravana alone — around thirty-three effigies, Meghnad and Kumbhakarna among them, built by neighbourhood committees and carried through the town with bands before the burning. Mohallas began adding their own figures from 1975. The Kumaoni Ramlila that runs beforehand is sung rather than spoken.
