Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) — LPG connection

A deposit-free LPG connection for women from poor households.

This is a guide, not a decision. Eligibility is decided by the department that runs each scheme.

Official rule (in English, as published)

Adult women (18 years or more) from poor households, based on a deprivation declaration. No other LPG connection from any oil company may exist in the same household. Women from poor migrant families can apply with a self-declaration.

Know Your Customer (KYC) application form
Proof of identity: Aadhaar copy of the applicant
Proof of address, only if the address in Aadhaar differs from where you live now (migrants: self-declaration)
Ration card issued by the state you apply in, or another state document showing the family (migrants: self-declaration)
Aadhaar copies of the applicant and the adult family members in that document
Bank account details (passbook copy or cancelled cheque)
Deprivation declaration
