Union Forest Minister Bhupender Yadav handed over financial aid cheques from the Secretary Welfare Fund of Sarас Dairy. Rs 10 lakh went to the family of a late Malakhera society secretary, and Rs 2 lakh to the family of a Mundawar society secretary suffering from illness. The fund aims to support secretaries and their families in difficult times.

Ajmer has launched 20 new electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa scheme, flagged off by the Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha from Nausar bus stand on Dhanteras. The buses will serve the city and nearby rural areas with cheaper, pollution-free travel. They include CCTV, fire safety, emergency buttons and automatic doors, and a charging depot was built at Nausar.

Chief Secretary reviewed the Parivartan Scheme and air quality in NCR districts, directing stricter compliance with pollution rules and fuel restrictions. The scheme encourages replacing old commercial vehicles with BS-6, CNG or electric ones, offering tax waivers, fuel vouchers and cash help. Officials were asked to improve coordination and raise public awareness.

Churu district's women empowerment department held a media workshop on the Child Marriage Free India campaign, discussing the role of journalists and a 100-day action plan. Officials said the press can help spread awareness about the harms of child marriage, legal provisions, and government schemes. Schemes like Sakhi One Stop Centre and Shiksha Setu were also presented to attendees.
