Paraswada

Paraswada is a mandal in Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh, comprising 172 revenue villages and 56 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, it had a population of 101,133 across 23,114 households, with a literacy rate of 63.7% and sex ratio of 1,036. Agriculture is the primary occupation, with 11,547 cultivators and 9,259 agricultural labourers among 53,433 workers. As of the Jal Jeevan Mission data, 59.1% of households had tap water access.
