Baragaon

Baragaon mandal is situated in Sundargarh district, Odisha, with 71 revenue villages and 16 gram panchayats. The Census 2011 population was 72,336 across 16,978 households, with a literacy rate of 61.2% and sex ratio of 1,001. The mandal had 38,451 workers, including 7,322 cultivators and 3,543 agricultural labourers. Post-Census data indicated 68.3% of households had tap water access under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
