Baswa

Baswa is a mandal in Dausa district, Rajasthan, comprising 84 revenue villages and 20 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, it had a population of 92,491 across 17,097 households, with a literacy rate of 57.3% and a sex ratio of 896. The mandal recorded 40,144 workers, including 14,365 cultivators and 3,050 agricultural labourers. As of the Jal Jeevan Mission assessment, only 11.6% of households had tap water access. Baswa serves as the mandal headquarters.
