Brahmapuri

Brahmapuri mandal is located in Chandrapur district, Maharashtra, comprising 140 revenue villages and 75 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 130,140 with a literacy rate of 66.8% and a sex ratio of 983. Of the 78,292 workers, 17,226 were cultivators and 28,669 were agricultural labourers. As of the post-Census period, 82.1% of households had access to JJM tap water.
