Sagar is a mandal in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, comprising 217 revenue villages and 100 gram panchayats. The 2011 Census recorded a population of 236,000 in 52,469 households, with a literacy rate of 64% and a sex ratio of 889. The mandal has 101,182 workers, including 19,265 cultivators and 28,920 agricultural laborers. JJM tap-water coverage is at 59.1%, the lowest among the listed mandals.
