Atru

Atru is a mandal in Baran district, Rajasthan, spanning 151 revenue villages with 34 gram panchayats. The 2011 Census enumerated 122,309 residents with a literacy rate of 59.5% and a sex ratio of 927. Agriculture employs the majority, with 21,958 cultivators and 7,604 agricultural labourers out of 60,333 workers. Only 17.5% of households have Jal Jeevan Mission tap water access.
