Sangod

Sangod is a mandal in Kota district, Rajasthan, comprising 140 revenue villages and 28 gram panchayats. The 2011 Census reported a population of 89,594 across 16,494 households, with a literacy rate of 60.8% and a sex ratio of 935. The mandal had 43,165 workers, of whom 15,661 were cultivators and 5,075 agricultural labourers. Post-Census data shows 17.1% of households had JJM tap water access.
