Arain

Arain mandal is located in Ajmer district, Rajasthan, comprising 57 revenue villages and 15 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 79,689 with a literacy rate of 45.5% and a sex ratio of 959. Agriculture was the primary livelihood, with 17,314 cultivators and 5,207 agricultural laborers among 40,355 total workers. As of the survey period, 27.8% of households had access to tap water through JJM.
